How to use clan Mumble room

Post  Pig Iron on Thu Apr 21, 2011 4:29 pm

Mumble is a verbal chat client of Murmur server.
Now I made Mumble room for the clan on a free Mumble site. It is experimental for clan, when mumble will be usefull then I'll migrate that to one of my own server.

1, Download a Mumble client:
- Windows:
-Mumble 1.2.3 ( [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] )
- Linux: use repositories as that is available from there eg.:
- sudo apt-get install mumble (ubuntu, debian, etc.)
- yum install mumble (on RedHat, SuSe, CentOS etc.)
- or download from here: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
- OSX:

2, After you downloaded the client (Mumble):
- Start
- On menu: Server->Connect (then a popup window showed)
- in the Mumble Server Connection window you have to give some data:
- Add new... button
- fill the form:
Servername: woodprotecotors
Port: 10010
Username: [as you want to show] eg.: your nick
- Press Ok.
- Now you will see lot of servers. Search the woodprotectors room. You can't connect while you don't know the access token.
The access token will be known from the clan chat.
When you'll know the access token, then you have to press in Mumble: Server->Access Tokens->Add->[here you have to write the token known from the clan chat]->Ok.
You can access the woodprotectors room.
